I am not too much concerned about pot, its no different than alcohol. It is nice, however, to see a parent actually giving their child some consequences. I just finished up term 1 parent teacher interviews, and you can see they make a big difference.
The parents who are strict have the amazing kids. Thoughtful, hard working, happy, well adjusted kids. The ones who "just focus on the positives" or didn't want to hear about their child's behaviour, they are the ones with the nightmare kids. Moody, demanding, and socially maladjusted.
