Song lyrics where?
Anyone have the lyrics or know of a link to Alison Krause's tearjerker "Two Highways"? Tried EZLyrics, no connection. Usually you can guess the next line of a country song or at least finish it, but I can't in this one. Her voice, which is wonderful and haunting, somehow drowns out some of the important words.

Nice toy!
Where do you play? Two Highways Lyrics Two highways lay before me, which one will I choose Down one lane I’d find happiness and down the other I would lose There is no one that I can trust, I must decide alone My decision is an awful one, which road will take me home (chorus) In the mornin’ would I wake to find, down the wrong road I have gone Will I hear the melodies I’ve searched for oh so long Only time will tell if I have made a loser’s choice And though sadness cries my inner soul, goodbye lover moans my voice Perils, there are many, as I set out on my way If I lose your love I know that I can call it back someday Rambler, lonely rambler, just ‘cause anyplace is home Nashville, lights how you have always shined Wishing now that you had found a word or two to say But the mornin’ came and we both knew my eyes gave it away As I kissed your cheeks and said goodbye I thought only time will tell And you can’t draw water from an empty well In the mornin’ would I wake to find, down the wrong road I have gone Will I hear the melodies I’ve searched for oh so long Only time will tell if I have made a loser’s choice And though sadness cries my inner soul, goodbye lover moans my voice

Thanks
Appreciate the lyrics. You know, after seeing all the words, the complete picture is not as gripping as it first sounded. My gut is relieved.
It's an autocross car built by KBS with 500cc snowmobile engine. Only 100 hp but weighs 800 pounds with driver. Road racers claim they go 130 at Watkins Glen. I ran a lot at Englishtown near you when I lived up there, but in Tennessee now, run at Huntsville, Nashville and Atlanta. The car has won Solo Nationals in Topeka with my wife driving - I always seem to have mechanical issues there. As with any racecar, it's an ongoing thing. Vern ![]()

Kudos to Betsi! National champ! That was worth selling a 911S for...

Her daily driver now is a 993, I think; I can't keep these later models straight. She tried autocrossing and said it was a pig (sorry 993 owners, her opinion). I reminded her that she was used to an AX car that totalled 800 pounds and this car probably had 800# on each wheel.
Two highways, to stay on topic. Said she would try it again, but mostly wants a different exhaust so she can hear it. ![]() Vern
