Refurbishing Stainless Steel Bumpers (Alfa)

Gents ... help.

The Alfa is out of paint (pix forthcoming) and looks stunning, if I may say so (and, as I didn't actually paint the damned thing myself, I may).

However, the car has 4 bumpers, and a center grille, each of which is in good shape, but not up to snuff for the finish on the rest of the car. There are a couple of dings in each piece, but nothing that should be terminal.

Does anybody hereon know someone who will fix stainless steel bumpers, at a reasonable price. FWIW, if you can find NOS or reman bumpers, they're on the order of $500 a piece! And the grille is ~$450. I need a cheaper hobby.

As I'm in upstate New York, and it's November, I won't need the bumpers back for several months, so I'm not antsy about immediate turn-around; but I'd like to get them in queue somewhere.

As always, thanks in advance.

JP

Stainless Steel? Are you sure they aren't a mild steel that's been chromed?

Post a couple of pics JP. If it is simply some dents and polishing, I might be able to help.

Frogger - yeah. Stainless. I sent them over in the bin with all the other brightwork, and the "chromer" said stainless. All the NOS/OEM stuff is stainless too, so I'm 99%.

Thanks, Tim. They're not in my possession at the moment, but I should have them back this weekend and I'll take/post pix. I really don't think they're in bad shape.
