Tabs Is A True Visionary

First this is not gong to be a fully developed theme..I just don't have the time at the moment to think it completely through.

So what is it that Tabs has that make him so....ahhhh... much of a visionary..

1. He has the ability ot see both sides of the equation at the same time. However he has to choose one side to represent.

2. In any arguement there are 2 sides of an equation, Tabs has the ability to see the middle course of action, which is the the usual resolution of any arguemnet.

3. Tabs is a true empath..meaning that he is able to put himself into the other fellows head with that persons constraints..then it is a simple jump to see what one would do under similar circumstances.

4. Tabs has analytical abilty..in other words he puts the pieces of the puzzle together to make a understandable picture.

5. Tabs is a conflict resolution artist..meaning he has the desire to put the pieces of the puzzle together to make that understandable picture. One might say Tabs has the desire to learn. Tabs wants to know the reason why.

6. Tabs is not bound by the conventional wisedom of the quanitative, but realizes things exist, that are currently in the unknown catagory. Tabs has the faith to believe in his imagination as a guide.

7. Tabs has the courage of his convictions. He has only one master and that is the truth of the matter and has the Dogged determination to persevere.

These are the traits that make Tabs unique.

That said, Tabs recently had a conversation with his old friend in the Shrink biz, what it really comes down to is that people in general have a number of these traits however they don't pay attention to them which results in those traits not being fully developed. In other words people choose to be blind to the real world around them.

I think when man lived in Nature (caves etc) one had to pay attention or suffer the consequences of being eaten by a dinosauer or saber tooth tiger. As man became more civilized he became more removed from the vagries of nature so that he eventually lost the sharpeness of his senses.

Today with the increasing technology and wealth man is becoming more isolated and alienated as he steps further away from the natural order of things. This is really another discussion entirely.

Tabs?you been eating magic shrooms again ??

livi 11-16-2007 01:21 PM

tabs,

Paradoxically your are getting stranger by the day and at the same time more to my likening. You print unique posts that sometimes sound like they where copied out of a manual, but for some reason I am guessing they are not. Bottom line - I always feel a need to read them which is pretty much what you anticipate. Intriguing.

I am language wise severely handicapped and I often wish I could express myself in my own language. It is fairly OK for me to speak up on streight forward topics, but expressing more delicate, balanced thoughts is difficult for me. Very, very irritating when the topics are carried out by such high quality posters.

To add insult to injury, my frigging Spell Check wonīt work!

just write swedish Livi, them Yank need to broaden their perspective a bit, learn more about the world and stuff like that...

Ik zal wel Vlaams schrijven, jij kan gewoon gezellig Zweeds schrijven... komt wel goed!

livi 11-16-2007 01:43 PM

Maybe I should. To really stress my 'out of town' ship.

Most Americans have hear of Europe, have they not ? :D

JCF 11-16-2007 01:44 PM

Sure he has developed the ability to see both sides of things.
And he also seems to be refering to himself more and more in the third person.

JCF thinks Tabs just may be developing a bit of schizophrenia.

Oh, I don't think so (and neither do I).

What I find to be most astounding, is how a man with such amazing qualities, can still maintain such a sense of humility.:p

Eastern virtues don't play well in the West.

If Tabs drinks two 5ths does that make him a 10th?

Ohh Nostatus you are so self effacing and modest. What would happen if U would only let out that little spark of genius you hide so well. Would that be an affront to your sensibilities? I think Tabs sometimes shocks U with his audacity.

Is it the risk of not being understood and the accompanying ostracizing that has caused you to hide in childhood. In reality you have nothing to lose by letting that genius out, after all you really can't change people with preconceived notions. You have already been hurt, so what is a little more pain?

There are many sharp, intelligent and thoughtful people on this Board but Nostatus is #1. People don't realize the abstract constructs that he is able to make. He has some reconciliation to make within himself though. This paragraph is something I have been meaning to say for quiet awhile.

I think that cuts straight to the point...
