Good for you lendaddy

scottbombedout 12-18-2007 12:26 PM

Absolutely fantastic, pleased for you!

Thanks guys, I have a couple others of similar size "on the line" and suddenly I'm more optimistic about them. Like I said, it will take one or two more like this to reach stasis but a hard purchase order like this helps smooth the bumps with the land lord etc if nothing else.

Took me a while but I found this thread and read it all.

I'm glad that one of your projects came in lendaddy.

I'm an architect in Michigan and things are bad, real bad. I can't even imagine them ever turning around, but of course all that can change with a single phone call.

I'm still waiting on a proposal that is out there, but first indications are not good.

I'm taking to heart all that I've read about marketing, maybe it will help.SmileWavy

Lendaddy - keep selling - build yourself up a cushion - I always tell my sales folks that the best time to sell is when you don't need the money.

Congratulations! Savor it for 5 minutes, now build on that momentum!

Act you like you have it with newfound confidence in going after the other accounts and new accounts.

Act like you don't have it, that the next one is your base to build on, and so on.

yes, I am pleased but by no means satiated. If this is all we get we're still screwed so I have plenty of motivation. I may not have my usual 3AM crushing panic attack tonight though:)

Excellent!

Awesome! That's great to hear.

This is the first positive thing to happen here in a long time and it really hasn't sunk in yet.

This is great news! Just remember the pain you have gone through and what you have learned to survive. Keep beating the bushes for business even when business is good. Merry Christmas!

Awesome! Keep the early Christmas gift on a roll and take advantage of the momentum while your competitors are out drinking eggnog.

Lendaddy -

I just stumbled onto your post and have yet to read through the entire thread, however if you are still looking for a resource with turnaround and restructuring experience I may be of some use. I've worked in corporate turnarounds for almost 10 years now and have a number of clients in the manufacturing and automotive industries.

Feel free to contact me privately if you are still looking for help or opinions and I'll find some time to read through the thread and see if I can come up with any useful insights for you.

Thanks, like I said we're not out of the woods yet...not by a long shot so I couldn't forget the pain if I had to as it's still there.
I should amend my prediction on the early morning "panic attacks" subsiding as I had another last night. But, it was at 4:00 A:M instead of 3:00 so maybe that's progress? :D

I kid a little, they're not really panic attacks I don't think as I am plenty in control and calm but I wake with my mind going absolutely nuts with all the issues I'm dealing with. It's weird.

Thanks, I look forward to your thoughts once you've read the novel.
