Are you looking for a physician or will an non-doc be acceptable?

Ok, wife does not know anyone personally in that area, but if you would like the person to be a physician, http://medicalacupuncture.org/ is the home of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. You can find a medical accupunturist in there area based on area code.

Note that for non-physician practitioners, the state of California requires accupuncturists to be licensed by the state. Also, some practitioners specialize in certain fields like womens health or AIDS.

Legit acupuncturist would be preferred. Not for me; I'm looking for a couple patients in the area. The clinic in Oxnard has no contacts. I know guys in my local area, but not up there. I'll check out the website. Thanks.
