Idea for a charity, is there a need?

The wife and I have been discussing ideas for starting a local charity.

One thing we have discussed is a service that builds accessibility ramps/bathrooms/etc.... for disabled folks. Basically a service that takes on 'livibility' problems for low income folks.

But is there a need for this kind of service? I suppose it depends on what kind of local programs are available.

I'm sure there is always more need than what is currently available. Regardless, a noble and admirable undertaking.

Best of luck.

You might check with your local MS Society branch. I'm sure they'd know what services are available...or not.

The VA does this for vets, were were involved in the SE, but the supplier of the ramps wan't big on paying the bills even though he was paid. Yes, it is very rewarding to help Vets, some who where homebound because no ramps.

Recycle catalytic converters

Harddrive,
Platinum is now $1468 an ounce and catalytic converters have a tiny bit. If you Google the title and you can get more info. There is a captive audience on Pelican and some have a junk cat tossed in the shed. You can then use the profits for many noble causes.
