Seems like I'll be flying up there on the 8th for an uncle's funeral, and will be staying until the 13th. Flying in and out of SFO, and will be staying in a motel in Cupertino.

Chris? Cliff? Anything going on? Dim sum to make up for last September?

I say it's time for another drive through Napa but I'm open to another route if anyone has a suggestion. I'm always down for dim sum. There's a place about two miles from Cliff's house. PM me before you head down and I'll give you my cell phone number.

Hey Jeff,

Got your PM, I will be around all this week and should be around for the weekend as well. As for a drive, I am open to anywhere. I just got back from a trip to Napa this weekend, I drove some of the same roads we took on the last run since I was in the area.

You going to haul all of that stuff you are selling as carry on luggage?

Alright guys, I've been here for a day and a half now, but been a bit down with the stomach flu...hopefully it gets better tomorrow. Any chance we can get something together?

oh and damn....it's pretty freakin' cold!!

But with stomach flu, what would you want to do? And who would want to hang around and get the bug?

I was still hoping that a ride would gel together for Saturday. I will post a suggestion in the technical forum since that's where we get the most exposure.

Cold? We just set records last week.

I know, I know, I remember wearing only go aheads and shorts everyday too......miss that.

As for Saturday, although that would probably be the best day for everyone, it is also the day for the funeral. I just asked my mom and apparently it's gonna be pretty busy the whole day.

Unless of course some are up for an early morning run and breakfast

jeff i will be having drinks in downtown sunnyvale tomorrow night. would love to get you one, i know this watering hole called murphy's law that makes a mean drink. trying to get c-beers to go too. pm me if interested and i will forward a phone number.

i may go out saturday for a run, but i am waiting till a bit later. as i am trying to heat cycle a new set of track tires and i need temps to get up.

OK, I just talked with Toby and it sounds like drinks are on for Friday night. You should go Jeff, Toby knows everyone there and it makes for a fun night!

Be warned, they DO make strong drinks that sneak up on you

I guess no run on Saturday then, which is OK, I have things to do. BUT if things change here on the board, I am in!

cliff, i have got 3 different couches and you'd have your choice. mcqueen might find you irresistible, he has just been denutted so you will stay dry...

jeff, its on murphy street, downtown, right near the old mall. i know none of this makes since, but your local contacts may know by my description. dont know where you are, but i would not mind picking you up. you're on you own getting home though, i can recommend a cab??

i gotta be on the jobsite @ 6:30AM, so i think i will have to pass. i thought i could have a quick beer and jet, but it may be too big a task. not the drive, the JUST drinking one beer part.

I'm staying until sunday morning at the Cypress Hotel on DeAnza Blvd in Cupertino. I think I've been to Sunnyvale before last Sept when I my wheel bearing fixed at CT Automotive during my roadtrip. When is everyone gonna be heading down there? I have to find out for sure what's going on tonight and whether or not I'll have a way to get down there.
