Wrench for non-pcars needed near Pasadena, CA

Hope this isn't too boring for the OT forum, but...

Have a Honda Civic and a VW GTI that need a good shop for routine work. The p-car goes to a p-specialist shop when necessary, but we haven't found a good independent shop that can take care of the two other cars. Both are about 10 years old and approaching or over 100k miles, so they need some extra attention here and there.

Any suggestions or recommendations for an independent shop near Pasadena, California?
