i just wanted to check and see how you finished out the trip. is the 930 still running rich? i still need to wash my carport wall..lol. how many hours total did you make the drive from new hampshire to tahoe? sorry i didn't have much time to do more other than throw together some grub last saturday night, but you were understandably tired..besides, the tn pelicans fed you some barbeque. anyway, got your messages from amarillo and last i heard you were sleeping in tucson monday night..make it from there okay?

guess what..my car's running funny now. i think it's that maf sensor. i never did hear back from either of my wrench's, btw about your problem. getting it looked into? did our fiddling with the mixture do any good? mine's running rich and all i could think tonight driving home from the airport was how i wish i'd thought to put that extinguisher we got into my darn car.

:( very, very sad news is that a student of mine wanted me to fly to tulsa yesterday am to help him bring back a cessna turbo 210 (i owned one a dozen years ago), but i was still bummin' and didn't take his call to lay in bed. he went without me, got a 'magic pen' high-performance endorsement, still needing me for the insurance requirement to fly solo..and crashed. his wife and father burned in the plane,but he was dragged out alive,but broken pretty badly. how badly do you think i wished i'd have taken that call. he apparently got distracted trying to handle an electrical problem, got distracted and hit power lines. damn. i could hardly sleep last night with everything going on in my mind. if only i'd gone..never would have happened..and i know it..he would have followed me back in his cardinal.. :(
