yes I saw this - It makes me sick!! How could someone do that to their own kids!!!

Reading the article this happened in South Augusta. I am somewhat familair with this area and it is definitely what you'd refer to as low income when you look at a majority of the neighborhoods. I certainly wouldn't want to live there, in fact I don't even feel comfortable driving through some areas. I can imagine there are a lot of desperate people about and desperation can lead to some very bizzare and disturbing behavior.
