New Toy...

Sony Bravia - 40" 40V2500

$1100, out the door.

How'd I do?

Mail it to me for a test drive. I will let you know in about 3 years. We are shopping for a bedroom TV in exactly that size.

If you're talking about the country & western singer... ;)

Only by association and a few email exchanges. Never actually met him tho. You working on a project with him?

equality72521 11-30-2007 04:09 PM

HAHA, that's what my wife says. He's my PM for the energy monitoring/analysis project I'm developing. Aren't you with the WAN group? My project may require something of you, not sure though. My app will have users across the country and will be a little graphics intensive. There may be pipeline issues. Also been working with him on new/updated templates for refrigeration controllers in TUNA.

Sweet! I am, we'll have to talk. We've got good sized pipes via MPLS to the stores and KMA's now, but we're still having issues with some of the divisions running high load apps and doubling the number of users, then complaining that things are running slow.

Used to be we'd only find out about an app's requirements when someone started complaining that it wasnt running as fast as it should. Things are getting much better now that we're getting involved earlier so we can shape/size to fit that need.
