Don't think so. Believe that pre-86 used latch mechanisms and post -86 used rollers. Just a recollection - hopefully someone with more definitive knowledge will chime in.

Well, theres always that pristine engine and tranny that Seahawk has, it could be dropped in for track purposes! I gotta believe that those would fit.

G50 won't fit, 3.6 will. you'll need about $4K-$6K of conversion parts (oil system, wiring harness, exhaust... as well as while you are in there stuff like clutch, etc.
It's a very well documented conversion with kits that take most of the guesswork out.
