Sure, you may have to fix the system occasionally. But behind every crooked or dishonest politician (now I'm being redundant) are thousands, perhaps millions, of your fellow voters punching out that circle next to their name. I say take your beef to them...

There are actually three things I didn't like in that mess, you touched on the first:
She got elected because the voters, both legal and illegal, voted for someone they did not know but had an hispanic sounding name. They would not have voted for her if she had maintained her married name. If the borders had been maintained and the immigration laws enforced, it never would have happened.
There was proof of over 4200 illegal aliens registered, and the margin of victory was less than 900. How many of those 4200+ illegal aliens who registered to vote in that district in the 2 months before that election do you think voted for Bob Dornan?
Second: The election was influenced and the outcome was changed because a group that was funded by the democrat party admitted to rounding up and registering illegal aliens, and then instructed them how to vote and assured them that they would not get in trouble.
Third: She sold out. She changed her name, she changed her party affiliation, she changed her address (more like falsified) in order to get elected. She sold her soul to the devil so to speak, and will always be thought of as dishonest by me. With the help of the democratic national committee, she STOLE an election, and not just a local election. An election for a seat in the Congress of the United States.
Now she has aspirations to be the governor of California. Scary. I wonder how much money the democratic part would have to spend to help her steal that one too?
