Anyone else watching this mini-series?

Yeah. So far, I'd say that it is OK. Not fantastic, just OK.

Anyone know if they are going to air the first episode(s) again soon?

Z, go to Sci-Fi Channel's webpage and check their schedule for this weekend. IIRC, they will run the 3 episodes back-to-back on Sunday.

the guys who wrote this don't seem to realize that it's a cliche. the idea of taking a fairy tale and making it "dark" and "edgey" has been done so many times it's almost it's own genre. and i'm tired of it.

the new dorothy is cute. the evil witch is better. but nothing else works.

I'd really like to see a version of The Wizard of Oz that is true to the original book.

She looks a bit chunkier than when she played Trillian in HHGTTG.

Whoever wrote the script most likely read the Dark Tower series. "Tin Man" reminds me of Roland Deschain (the Gunslinger).

Or even better would be Zooey and Emily together. Double YUM!
