Around here there was a campaign by some pro-amnesty groups to place green placards in the windows of immigrant-owned businesses, so the illegals would know whom not to boycott on their boycott days. This was another feeble attempt to confuse all immigrants with illegal immigrants. Guess which stores I boycott now.

Like they really give a ***** who you boycott. It's your beloved lobbyists that are keeping the pro-amnesty movement alive. Businesses want cheap-azz labor, the Catholics want more members (and their money), the labor unions want to swell their ranks, the ACLU needs more business, etc. Some of the Repubs (e.g., Bush) want illegals here to help business. The Dems want more potential voters. They're all ba$tards.

Forget your meds this morning? I have no idea who my "beloved lobbyists" are. And yes, the illegals' boycott, at least in this area, backfired hugely. It let everyone know which businesses support amnesty and there are far more people with far more dollars who are vehemently against it.

Sorry, I could swear that every thread in PPOT that knocks lobbyists has you posting as one of their defenders. I'm sure a search would verify this. Or maybe I should've taken the blue pill this morning.

Ok, but this amnesty boycott in NoVA has nothing whatsoever to do with lobbyists. It's strictly a local thing.

I should add that I boycott any business that leaves fliers on my front door. Every single day there is junk mail there and it's not even close to the mailbox. One hot wing place even started stuffing fliers in the upper gap in people's garage doors, so of course, they fly away as soon as someone comes home and hits their garage door opener. I wrote this place a letter and they sent me an apology and gift cert., which I tossed.

There was a french Champaign I used to really like, can't remember the name of it now. I know the champaign itself was 'Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill', but I don't remember the brand. Haven't bought anything French in 6 years.

i was way ahead of the curve on wal mart. ten years ago i realized they only sold crap made in communist chinese sweatshops.

will never buy another harley product because they're made by retards.

my dog ate out of dumpsters, but wouldn't recognize macdonalds hamburgers as food. i took this as a sign.

realized it's been almost a year since i've watched anything on abc-nbc-cbs. not a deliberate boycott. i'll tune back in when the shows no longer suck.

there are a few actors, and directors that i'll never see again. maybe that's another discussion.

Bestbuy, only due to their atrocious customer service. 2 hr wait to return broken or faulty items.
