I dunno, just gonna take her out. She is a friend from college; I recently found out that she had a thing for me for years. Wish I knew that about 5 years ago! Oh well, better late than never!

A tidbit of advice, you prolly won't take it but I sure would like to see you get into that fine women...just listen to her. Don't talk about yourself. I know it will be tough cuz your a smart guy with a great thing going on but play it down. Try it, you would be surprised how much women love men who actually listen to them.

For date ideas: The lights in Bushnel Park. See if there is a play at the Bushnell or trip down to the Shubert - sump'n good should be hap'n. There is always the Mansfield Despot to eat at...

Thanks for the advice - though I can assure you it isn't needed, I do appreciate the concern. Since we were friends for a few years, I think she pretty much knows what to expect from me. Also, I have a history of long-term relationships, so I must be doing something right.

This one has a lot going for her - she is literate (an apparent rarity amongst 25-year-old, attractive females in New England), and we share tastes in movies and music. Here's the kicker, though: she is a tomboy and a car/motorcycle freak. She grew up riding dirtbikes in rural MA. Worst case scenario: we will at least have a lot to talk about on Saturday.
