I spent five days there and absolutely hated it. The people were rude and obnoxious. The food was lousy and the roads were all under construction. My hotel room was dirty and stunk. My wife and I were eating in a resteraunt and had a couple glasses of wine. A little while later we decided on getting a bottle. After bringing the bottle of wine, the waitress came over demanding her tip because they were closing. I told her I was sorry I didn't know they were closing. She said "Well I didn't know you were going to be here drinking all night." She got no tip and we took the wine to our room.

Wow, when I saw the title of the thread, I thought "wait for the next flight out." I didn't expect so many people to agree with me.

I don't remember it as being bad, but the weird thing is that I don't remember it at all. I know I was there once, but I can't remember anything about my trip. I guess it's trauma induced selective amnesia. :D

I guess it could be worse. But I'm sure there must be some Pelicans around that can offer pmajka the better than average experience.
