Inflatable Xmas lawn ornaments?

When I first saw these things a few years back I though "yuck... how lazy do you have to be to throw one of those out on your lawn?"

But now they are almost obligatory in my neighborhood.

Now I see one in the store that looks soooooo bad I'm thinking of putting it in the front yard as a joke.

What do the PPOT brain trust think of this things yea or nea?

The ultimate in WT. I'm white so I can say that. :D

If there were a bunch of those in my neighborhood, I "might" have to do a night mission with a bb gun.

I keep telling my wife I am going to buy one of those...

I think the same way...they kinda go along with the cheap solar outdoor lanterns.

Either they naturally loose air overnight or someone in my neighborhood really doesn't like them, because every morning they're all deflated :D. And no, it's not me.

We have one - its a 12ft Frosty - rough shape. He has a big slice in his gut and his broom won't stay up! But the kids love him in spite of his problems. I'll have to take some pics.

I think the inflatable santa on a motorcyle spitting flames is a bit much :), yeah drive by that everyday.
But if they had one of those 12ft diameter snowglobe things with Elvis in it, now that I'd buy.

Holly crap!

This has gotten worse that I had ever imagined!

I was commenting with friends at dinner last night... ya know we have all these cute adds with polar bears playing with seals and penguins... but in real life polar bears EAT seals and penguins... So that is what I want in my front yard...

A big inflatable polar bear eating penguins!Anyone know where I can get one of those?
(I know someone will now point out that polar bears and penguins don't live in the same geographic area)

Hmmmm... after looking at the site Jeff posted... I suppose I could get a Santa and a Rudolf and pose them in a unnatural act. ;)

you could do a manger scene using blow up girls. That might be festive.

Nice!! Be sure to get the slutty santa lingerie to go with them.

My neighbor appears to love these stupid inflatable things. They currently have a NASCAR / Christmas one. And here I thought I was moving into a nice neighborhood.

Does it match the couch on their front porch? :D

nostatic 12-14-2007 02:21 PM

Yeah, that is the one I am thinking of buying... I saw it in the store and laughed my a$$ off thinking what sort of jerk would buy one of those.

But the more I think of it the more I like the idea... have yourself a trailer park Christmas!

Well all I can suggest Scott is that if you are going to do it do it right. Get 5 or 6 of the cars and be sure to get an inflatable mobile home or two as well. While you are at it a few scantilly clad sex dolls would complete the festive motif.

I was thinking of going more low budget and surrounding it cases of bud light.
