Good call, you're a far better predictor of movies than I. I would have happily taken my wife, who loves German Shepherds, without even a thought of whether or not the dog would die. That would have ended poorly, I guess.

Definitely don't see "American Gangster", in that case. The character that DW plays has a long-haired GSD that is almost certainly related to my dog, http://www.heidelberg-usa.com/ , he gets killed but I know that it was faked. Still brutal, though.

Are you saying that an animal dies for real in this film? That's pretty unheard of these days w/ PETA, etc...
