Toll house cookies rock

A large glass of cold milk (real milk, not that white watered down low fat stuff) and a plate full of tool house cookies still warm out of the oven, it doesn't get any better than that.
That's what I like about Christmas. The rest I could live without but I'd miss the fresh baked cookies.

I find it hard to pass by a Mrs. Fields store when I see one.

100% agree Sammy, as long as they are not the Toll House roll cookies (which aren't bad!).

The only thing I would add is eating some of the cookie dough before baking.

Do parents still tell their kids eating cookie dough causes worms? Mine did.

Seems like the only real risk of eating the dough is the raw egg, but a risk I accept.

Best,

Kurt

LOL we just use the recipe on the back of the nestle semi-sweet morsal chocolate chip bag. Classic, easy, and turns out great every time. This year we accidentally grabbed a couple of bags tha had chocolate "chunks" instead of chips, maybe even better.

The wife has one of those earthenware cookie sheets, that thing's cool. It doesn't burn the bottom of the cookies no matter what.
We mixed up two whole batches, cooked one and the other is wrapped up in wax paper in the freezer for x-mas day.

My favorite cooked recipe !

I just made a batch for myself last night.

I was just sat down to enjoy eating my 2 dozen cookies with a glass of milk until my 6 YO came down stairs so I had to hand over 1/2 the loot

Good thing I had another batch in the oven
