OK, I guess I'm up (Go Pats)
C'mon - where are all the cry baby soup eating excuse fishing Belichick hating conspiracy searching New England Patriot dissing whinos on this beautiful monday ?
Think they'll do it ? Miami next - on a winning streak, Schula and the gang on the sideline maybe ? Brady seems to have fallen in love with Moss - He's damn good but not as pretty as Giselle Tom - LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FER CHRISTMAS SAKE ! A win is a win. Oh, and for the record - I have to say that should have been a TD for the Jets - Not that it would have made a big difference. Playoffs seem to be shaping up nicely. Lots of good teams rising to the top. Green Bay ? Go figure - Never thought they would keep it up. Dallas ? Like the Pats - a rough patch the last couple but damn it's a long season. Seattle as well. Cleveland coming on. Going to get interesting. Go Pats ! |
After a very rough start (1-3), the Chargers have really come on strong, too.
|
The Patriots should have won that game by about 40 points. I'm rather disgusted that they didn't.
|
I'm pissed the Miami won. I was hoping New England could have kicked Miami's ass further in the cellar. Crybaby Shula...

I was going to mention them as well - 51 ? - NICE ! Bastards were just running up the score ! Too bad the Fins won. I would also have preferred the symmetry - and the look on Cry Baby Schula's face. |
I'm probably going to schedule my naptime during this year's superbowl....
After all, who can play the Pats close? I know, on any given day, any given team...blah-blah. But... |
I'm torn. On the one hand I cannot stand how Belichick has handled this season. On the other hand there is something appealing about not having to hear about the 72 Dolphins popping champagne every year once the last undefeated team gets a loss.
Cowboys 34 Pats 21 in the Superbowl. |
I can't fathom New England losing to a bum like Terrell Owens. Say what you want about The Monk, but Bellichick has more class in his left ass cheek than T.O. has in his whole body.
I think Dallas has a 50/50 shot of getting to the big game. NE probably has a 75% chance on the AFC side. San Diego looks awfully good right now (maybe hitting their peak at the right time?) And Indy is always a contender. But NE has proven that they can handle either one capably this season. Same with Dallas. My prediciton: 19-0. Same as it's been since about week #3. |
The Cowboys have looked like a luke-warm pile of bloody sphincters the last few games.
|
Come on Len, you can't be jumping off the bandwagon after one loss!
My opinion is that the Cowboys needed a loss or two going into the playoffs. They have won several games they should have lost and have been sortof just showing up and going through the motions. No real killer instinct. Maybe a loss or two will piss em off at just the right time heading into the playoffs. P-o-P: Come on...do it with me. Put your arms out straight to your sides and then bring them up to meet right above your head.. T----O!!!! |
My Lions should have beaten them a week ago, and that's just embarrassing:D
|
I thought that was the first part of the "YMCA". :)

Will it be a problem for Jessica ? |

Pats lose to Jags for the AFC title. Rack it.

Speaking of Jessica I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I know she's hot and all, but damn is she stupid... |
Don't worry , there will be another in her seat soon.
Romo, is no dummy. And if they win the Super Bowl I think he might need to use all those luxury box seats. I watched some of the Packer game and realized how much like Favre he is. Same enthusiasm and skills. Oh yeah, forgot - The Cowboys S**K I hate them Cowboys. |

Gotta agree with that! I'm standing over all my Miami stuff with a match in my hand. They are a train wreck.

I'm sorry the Dolphins will never win with a QB named Cleo...

Naturally I'm a Packer fan and they were so incredibly lucky at the beginning of the season that I was not too impressed. But they are making a believer out of me. It seemed to me that Favre carried the team on his back those first few games and then the young guys actually started to believe that they were good and then playing up to that level. And they have basically (except for the blip at Irving) kept it up.
It reminds me a lot of '97 when the Packers were a powerhouse (but probably not as good as this version of the Pats) and they went into the Super Bowl a 10-14 point favorite and lost! At least that's the scenario I'm dreaming up for this year if the Pack can make to the game in AZ in Feb. And let's not forget what happened the last time the Packers played the Pats in a Super Bowl.;) |
Oh - we remember WI wide body...we remember...;)

Gotta love Green Bay.
Only team that makes The Patriots a warm weather team. I remember The Ice Bowl and those first 2 SB's - Lombardi, Donny Anderson , Bart Starr - and vividly that commercial for TWA. "Up up and away, on TWA"- with the hot air balloons. Funny what sticks. I would love to see a Pats/Packers matchup. And how great to see them play (and beat) the Cowboys in a another Ice Bowl for the NFC Title. |

Nah, even Billy B would not hold a grudge for 11 years. Well, actually maybe he would but he wasn't in NE at the time of that 35-21 thing. I hope. ;) |

Belichick was assistant head coach that year/game.
He probably remembers it... As does Tedy Bruschi who was a rookie . |
