997 GT3 video. Car won't last long...

Here's a a video of some crazy driver in Germany. With moves like this:
http://www.snotr.com/video/741

It's only a matter of time before he sends the car to the junkyard, hopefully without hurting someone else.

The way he weaves in and out barely missing the rear quarter I imagine some poor kid in a car seat being his first victim.

Eh...looks like a typical driver on I-95 during rush hour, albeit our azzwipes are usually driving a rusted-out '89 Honda Accord with three baloney skins and a fart-pipe.

He's a moron.....I'd like to see how he would do on a track with real drivers.

It's a shame that some people don't understand the difference between video games and real life. I drive like that.......only when playing mario kart.

Sorry to spoil the story, but it distinctly says "977 GT3", which is an entirely different situation. Now if it HAD actually been a 997, well then I could see people getting upset.

I just figured it was a European 997

Started mild, but really got irresponsible.

I remember when I was much younger (19-21) I use to on occasion pass on the shoulder. After I ran out of road one time in Tucson and broke two rims on my GTI, I learned not to do that ever again. I was stupid, stupid, stupid.

The violation of the construction cones takes stupid to a new level.

I hope the inevitable serious accident doesn't involve another car.

I can't remember where, but I remember hearing about a kid who went on a shooting spree killing a bunch of people. All were marksmen head shots, that not even a trained shooter could match. Found out later he was obsessed with a video game that specialized in head shots.

Maybe this guy is a master at Mario Kart?

I did a search for a 977 GT3, and all that comes up are stories about 997 GT3's. Must be a very common typo.

The story isn't spoiled, the guy driving the car is still a moron. The guy posting the video can't spell.

The Polizei on the autobahn don't take very well to people passing on the right, not to mention most of the other things that the video showed. When they catch you, I've heard that it's not as easy as it is in the US.

Hopefully the car just gets impounded rather than totalled. It's a shame that great cars end up in the hands of people like that.

Then again, I'd be saying the same thing if he were driving 45. Oh well.

And I wonder why the general public think people who drive Porches are a-holes......somebody is insuring this clown and the Jackass sidekick who is handling the video camera. I have three words solo spin out!!!! let's hope........o.k. I'm done w/my rant.

Thumbs down wtf is your problem, give me that GT3 before you hurt it!

looks like that would make a fun video game... but very dangerous and completely unacceptable in real life. i have had 6 friends die in the past two years from car accidents like that, one of which was a head-on at 150mph closure on US1. stupid

Porsche Crest 997 GT video thoughts

I would probably be more negative towards this video if I had never ever pushed my 911 on the streets. As Porsche drivers we all obey the traffic laws and never exceed the speed limits. I may have at one time gone over the speed limit by a mile or two (per minute)...

Having said that, I appreciated the smoothness of his driving, the obvious acceleration, and supreme handling of this Porsche. I also noted the inherent stability of the machine as it crossed small elevation changes in the road surface.

I could care less if he was driving his car fast and having fun...putting other folks in a stressful decision making environment as he approached fast from behind is another thing entirely. Remember: "passing side, or suicide"

He is not one of us.

All he does is give us a bad name.

In short...........as opposed to the porcupine, he is the prick on the inside.

It,s not in Germany it,s the D1 route in the Czech Republic. If you pull a stunt like that in Germany the police will have you standing in 10 mins (Helicopters).

In the Czech Republic it will be just a fine and it will be cheap I,m sure it,s one of those Rusian btards they all drive like it,s the last day.
