Yes Brian was known for lieing on the floor in a drug induced stupor for quiet some time before the byz dismissed him from the band. However his disintegration and surrounding chaos of that was the emotional inspiration for much of what they wrote.

Stickey was recorded in 1970 and released in 71. Much of that is Mr K's descent into heroin addiction.

That's funny, and you're so right. Brain WAS contributing to those albums...lieing there "drugged out" on the floor. His musical contributions, not so much :)
