Trouble Logging Into Hotmail with my MacBook

I love my new MacBook, but the only flaw I've found so far is that I have had a hard time accessing my Hotmail account ever since Microsoft switched over to "Windows Live Hotmail".

When I go to the hotmail login page, I get an error that says "Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons: This site may be experiencing a problem, or The site may not be a member of Windows Live ID. You can: Sign in or sign up at other Windows Live ID sites and services, or try again later at this site."

If you click on "Sign Up" (there is no "sign in" button on the page), it brings you to a page where you can get either Windows Live Hotmail or Windows Live Services. Until today, if you clicked on Windows Live Hotmail, it would bring me right to my Hotmail inbox. Now, it just reroutes me back to the previous page. Any ideas?

Have you tried linking to the Apple mail? I have a new MacPro and it linked automatically however; for some reason I can't delete messages from Apple mail so still use my aolmail. Are you using leopard or tiger??
