Saw bits and piece of the pregame show. I guess the writers for the Superbowl are on strike as well. Between Russel Crow's meandering description of perfection (anyone care to remind Fox that by definition, "perfection" cannot be more or less - it is simply perfection) to the oddly out of place reciting of the Declaration of Independance at the end it seems that they are taking the football game just a bit too seriously.

I like football, I dont need imitation drama, schlock and nationalism crammed down my throat beforehand.
