HOw long have you slept?

In the spirit of Wolfe's post:

What's the longest you have slept at one time, with no drugs? Comas don't count.

Me? About 16 hours, I think, after a 18 hour work day and a 8 hour drive through the snow.

16 hours when I was about 17 years old. No drugs or alcohol or anything abnormal. Hell, when I was stoned I never got close to that.

If I sleep longer than 8hrs I get very painful back aches and stiffness. When I was a kid I use to be able to sleep longer though.

I think the most I've ever slept is 12 hours or so.

Although when I've been very sick, with the flu and such, I've slept off-and-on all day.

Yeah, if I go more than 8 now I have a severe headache. WTF???

Around 16 hours following a very long but sober night after my High School Prom ... many years ago.

24 hours. I was really lazy and didn't feel like getting out of bed. I was living with my parents at the time and my dad made me a "certificate of recognition".

I hear you, I hate it really. I guess the advantage is that you have added incentive to get up and make the most of the day.

Although, I am 25, I really shouldn't be experiencing this sort of thing yet, I should be able to sleep in once in a while.

Most of the time I would rather get up and start doing something but once in a while I would like to "sleep in". :(

19 hours I think, recently. Got sick a few weeks ago and slept off the worst of it.

I can do 12, very rare though.
Average is 5 with a great sleep being 6.
Every so often I'll get in 8, but its weird.

I never use an alarm, I never commit to appointments in AM (my time).
I can get up, read, sleep, do what I want on any given morning.
My day kicks in about noon and I go as long as I have to.
I never sleep until the days work is done.

Works for me?

I can do 10-12 pretty easily. I really need to get more sleep during the week.

The longest I can remember is 17. Bed at 10pm, up at 3pm.

I do 10 almost Saturday and Sunday mornings almost every weekend--down from 12 most weekends.

I have also gone from maybe 5 hours of sleep a night to 7+ in recent years.
