David Prowse

Yeah yeah, I'm a geek. So sue me. :D

Seriously, Rutger in BR is great, so is Han Gruber (Rickman). He plays a good Snape too.

Gotta say Robert Mitchum in Night of the Hunter...

Holy *****. Forgot about Night of the Hunter. That is a truly evil character. Good add.

The mobster in The Firm. The guy who is sitting on the couch when the young lawyer walks in to meet the mob guy who is the firms client. He's not the boss but one of the boss's flunkies. He's played the same role in other gangster movies and never says much but cracks me up. He is the perfect guy for the role.

Don't know his name. He is not the kind of character you would hate. He's very funny without saying much.

Malcolm McDowell as Alex.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1198385963.gif

(And David Prowse was in that movie, too.)

+1! Dang! Can I change my vote? Night of the hunter is one of my favorite movies. VERY creepy. Love that scene at the end where he's sitting outside the Lillian Gish's house singing and she's sitting on her porch holding the shotgun harmonizing. Friggin awesome scene. And Shelly Winters sitting in the "T" underwater? Brrrrrrrr!

Let's not forget how good Mitchum was in Cape Fear!

Little Bill in Unforgiven for one
I always thought that Bill Munny was just as bad as Little Bill was in that film.
In fact, one could argue that Little Bill was just trying to uphold the law, though with
his merciless heavy-hand, he did stand on the side of the law. Bill Munny was just as bad
if not worse. He had killed just about everything that had walked or crawled, before.

bad guy... I like Deniro's portrayal of Max Cady in the 2nd Cape Fear...when he had the lawyers
teenaged daughter sucking on his fingers in the school auditorium, it was pretty creepy.

Yeah, Munny started out good in the movie, reformed, but he descended right back into what he was before. I cannot believe I don't have that DVD.

Hugo Weaving in the Matrix for me, the scene when Neo gets arrested, so subtle.... The wince looking at his file, the gestures, the cruel slight smile as Neo is unable to speak. A great performance is when so much is said, by saying very little.

How about Sir Laurence Olivier in Marathon Man.

"Is it safe?"

Thought twice about going to the dentist after that one scene.

Agree with all the Oldman, and other great actors mentioned but you gotta
admit they all fall short in the "Make ya hate em" category when compared
to this guy :p
