Sharp car. Black car in FL? Not a problem being hot? Here in Pittsburgh, I've been eyeing BMW Sedans for when my addition is done. Black is what I'm after, especially since you can count on your hands the number of sunny days!

That's outrageously cheap. Can I ask....leatherette interior? What else doesn't it have? My 2004 325xi was like $34K when I bought it new. It's just under 60K now...depreciation sucks. Someone asked about size. I'm 6'0 and fit fine, seats still go back aways. Problem is nobody could sit behind me. I had a Volvo S70 before and it was a lot bigger inside. Not as fun to drive, but bigger inside.

As I said - they lowered the CPO standards. No real leather interior - sport package (but not the premium package with the harmon kardon) It did have a sport of bird poop that crazed the clearcoat on the hood.

Otherwise - very little wear - recent brakes, recent AC service, Recent 50,000 mile service.

Here a few links.

Here's a 2004 for $15900

As I said - alot of car for the money

I had one place down to 14K for a 2003 with 48000 miles but it was not in as good of shape as this one.

In doing a search, it seems they're significantly cheaper on the west coast also....alot like Jeremy is seeing in Fla. I assume it's because there's a BMW/Lexus/MB dealership on every corner in CA. Lots of competition, lots of cars to choose from...

BTW...Jeremy, now I see why your wife passed on that other car. Is that, uh...purple?

It's orient blue - like the one we got - In some light it can photograph with a purple tinge - but is definitely dark blue.

I have the same car and really like it.

I have done all the work on it myself except when it was under warrenty...got a new alternator and one door regulator.

All 4 door regualtors have been replaced (it's a 01), easy to do, takes about 30 min.

I found http://www.e46fanatics.com/ to be a great resource for informaton, similar to PP for the 911.

That's a bit of a stretch, but they are all reasonable new so there isn't a ton of deep DIY stuff that needs doing. Go on ebay and find a copy of the TIS for like $10. It;s the service manual you load on your PC. Shows you how to do it all and the torque specs. Pretty easy to work on. I did front and rear brakes on mine. You need a big c-clamp to get the pads back enough to remove the calipers, but that's the only trick to it.

Orient blue rocks.

Stupid question - but what does TIS stand for?

Nevermind - I figured it out -

Oh - and I was looking at the window sticker - it has the premium package too (moonroof, leather, onboard computer), etc. and Xenon headlights - and a car cover.
