Antique dolls- any experts here?
My wife put me in charge of doing some research for a friend of hers that inherited theses dolls. Both are early 1900 porcelin head dolls. One is J.D.Kestner #215 and one is Simon Halbig #939. If any one has any info other than whats availabile on the net I could use some help trying to establish a value. If you are worried about your "Man Card" standing by replying publicly about dolls then pm me.

Thanks for that info. From what I have found the Model number of the doll is not exactly what the doll is. There are variations in size with the same model number. So you can have a Simon Halbig 939 that is 14" tall clear up to 27" tall. This is the part that is so confusing when trying to find a value. There does not seem to be an exact match between the dolls listed and the ones I have. I will keep looking.
