I have one question:
Who's the Illinois band-geek who decided that playing stairway to heaven during the halftime show would be a good idea? Oh man was that bad. Really, really bad.
I'll refrain from any team bashing, but band geeks are free game ;)

My wife's sister, a former member of the Marching Illini, thinks the song choice and actual performance were abysmal.

Was just listening to the game in the car on the radio. Couldn't find the station I was looking for, so I settled for the Spanish-speaking station. I may have only understood every third word, but WOW, do they know how to make a game sound exciting!

It was a well fought game. Lots of hard hitting, lots of big plays. The 4 turnovers really hurt illinois.

sammyg2 - the best part of that game was the USC cheerleaders. Not for nothing but that game sucked like a Dyson.
