Bad news for Dakar fans....
Apparently this years event has been cancelled due to direct threats from Al Queda.
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=17415 I hate the idea of giving in to these terrorists or any terrorists for that matter, from what I understand the insurers, couple of the major teams and sponsors have backed out causing the event to fall apart. It's a sad day. |
