Okay, let's get serious. It's playoff time!

What are your predictions for the games this weekend?

I'm gonna take two of the underdogs:
I'll take Washington and Jacksonville tomorrow.....mostly because I want the Dallas 'Boys to play Washington and then the Packers don't have to play Seattle!

And the Giants and San Diego on Sunday.

I predict the Panthers will go undefeated in the playoffs :)

I always like an underdog, I'll go with the Dolphins. I don't have tv, let me know how they do.

Gosh, except for that Seattle guy, you fellas remind me of most of the TV talking heads on CNBC...they can tell you all of the reasons for all of the past stock market results...but when it comes to making a firm stock prediction...the goobers suddenly go mute!

Hey, it's not that tough: you simply decide who you think will win the games...and type it in the names. :)

Given your views on most things being bass akward I am not shocked that:

a) You incorrectly called Jacksonville an underdog, they were favored by three.

b) Both of your picks lost(to the spread:D).

Back to reality... Tampa and The Chargers today. Both favorites :)

The Giants could easily win but they just don't work well as a team, watch for a mini-Manning implosion followed by his WR's acting like spoiled school kids.

You remind me of George Bush. You get info and facts, but you seem not to process it very well.

I just love when people who THINK they know something put it down black on white.

If a small child would read my post, they could easily see that I picked Washington, Jacksonvile, the Giants, and San Diego.

Now, I will go slow but do try to follow along. Friday, the official line from Vegas was:

Seattle: -3 1/2
Jacksonville: -2 1/2
San Diego: -8 1/2
Tampa Bay: -2 1/2

What that means my expert sports betting friend, is that each of those teams was the favorite.

Now look above again and see who I picked. I took Jacksonville but I did NOT call them a favorite. Those are your words. The two underdogs I picked were Washington and the Giants.

P.S. Back when I ran that tavern, we would make a living off people like you.:)

Gosh, San Diego may have a rough time. Gates is out and LT looks like he is really p!ssed off about something!

Giants !
Yes !
On to Dallas to beat those Cow pies !

JeremyD 01-06-2008 05:20 PM

The bucs stunk it up - Steelers had a bad call - what was the offensive holding?

Jacksonville looked tough.

If Eli can play again like he did today - they are going to be tough for Dallas.

Actually, it is always very difficult for any team to beat the same team three times in a season. That's probably the biggest thing that the Giants have going for them.

i guess the chargers were smart to get rid of schottenheimer.

in only one season, turner got them where schot never could.

Only by one week. I'd be real surprized if ANY of the wildcard teams make it past next week, especially San Diego. I'm not rooting agaist them, I just don't think they will do it.
BTW, That's just a hunch. Pretending that I know for certain which team will win would be ridiculous. I never could figure out why people do that.
Things like guarrantying a win or saying you can bank on it or whatever.

Sammy, Sammy, Sammy...you are as confused about the NFL as you are about OPEC and the big oil companies. San Diego is not a wild card team.:)
