I don't recall anyone holding a gun to her head telling her to run for President.

pwd72s 01-07-2008 10:35 AM

All part of the dog and pony show...a "round table discussion" with participants AND QUESTIONS selected by her campaign staff...

(edit)...not just Hillary. All the candidates do this. Very little TV or press coverage is "real". In other words, don't pay attention to what they say, pay attention to what they do...or have done, by checking their political voting records.

Exactly, Paul. One very well rehearsed performance. Trying to show voters the softer, more feminine side of the coldest b!tch in America. No one was there that was not hand-picked. No one was there asking their own questions. No one was allowed to say anything that was not scripted by Hillary's staff.

Further proof that Clinton will simply never have to face a tough question from anyone. She is immune from it. Unreal.

I was watching a segement yesterday, forget if it was Fox or CNN, with Ron Paul. He was having breakfast in a diner and chatting with people. I dunno if they were handpicked, but he was also getting softballs. Married his high school sweetheart, has 18 grandkids, likes biking or delivering babies when he's not busy, etc. I guess it's kind of interesting stuff if there weren't more pressing things to discuss. Paul has certainly told people how he would change things. Clinton just keeps saying the word "change". So sick and tired of hearing about it. It's Orwellian Newspeak.

I think the tears are real. She has come to the realization that the whole deal is slipping away.

It is also a perfect example on why she shouldn't be president. I wouldn't expect the campaign to be the democratic candidate to be as stressful as sitting in the highest office of this land and she is already an emotional mess. She is not presidential material and it shows.

There comes a point in every battle where something happens to signify that one party or the other has lost. In my mind, that happened when Hillary cried. Things have been going so badly for her that she was desperate to do anything to get back in the race. Now she just looks desperate. I am declaring her candidacy over: Stick a fork in her, she's done.

Her idea of change is a gender change for the POTUS. I wonder if she meant while she is (presumably) in office.

So crying will win her N.H.? I think the real tears will fall on Tuesday evening.

cgarr 01-07-2008 11:46 AM

No lip biting, common you have to bite the lip!!

legion 01-07-2008 11:50 AM

If Clinton can get some sympathetic feds to indict another one of Obama's friends, she may be crying tears of joy soon...
