Oliver Stone's New Movie

He says he is going to make a movie about G.W. Bush, he also said it won't be a "hatchet job". This is supposed to be out just before the elections. Will it be just packed full of fact like his other movies?

I am willing to wait and see. I enjoyed the JFK movie, saw it more as speculative fiction rather than documentary.

Sounds like good business sense to me. That movie will never be more marketable then at that time, and he would make a mint. Still, lots of projects get talked about, but I'll wait to see if it becomes a reality.

From a film-student's point-of-view, it was a brilliantly-made movie. It simply was a great piece of moviemaking that also happened to be wildly entertaining... but how much of it is based on fact? Probably about as much as DeLillo's book LIBRA, which tells the story from LH Oswald's POV; in other words, it was very likely a fiction construction with tenuous ties to reality.
