No, freaks!!:p

A *real* camel.:)

I went shopping the other day and this camel was in a horse trailer right in the middle of town.

"Kazzy's" handler said she is 8 years old and weighs 1752#'s.
Hair soft as a rabbit and muscle hard as a rock.

The handler said this camel is a "therapeutic animal".
They take it to assisted living facilties for the older people to enjoy.

When we first saw it we stayed WAY back. It could spit, right?

After we came of the store the handler was there, so it was OK to get close.

Really neat animal.

Brings a whole new meaning to 'camel toe' :D

I went to Israel with my mom dad and sister when I was 6--we got to ride on a camel as a family. I was in front. Those damn things lift their hind legs first, then the fronts. The weight of everyone behind me smashed my nuts so hard against the saddle I almost died.

Not almost died, but you know what I mean.

Bactrian or Dromedary?

ZOA NOM 01-08-2008 09:08 PM

Time's up... Bactrian!

trekkor 01-08-2008 09:08 PM

Got me?
But I saw it's toes and laughed. :D

That thing is gonna slap a restraining order on you, you'd better stop stalking it.

It started the day as a horse, but it "evolved" over the course of the trip.

A "therapeutic animal" - until it spits in your face! Those things are more tempermental than a teenager in heat.

M.D. Holloway 04-21-2008 07:46 AM

actually animals do work wonders with kids and old people that are recovering.

Drdogface 04-21-2008 09:51 AM

Spitting or not their breath will turn a freight train up a dirt road...

ha ha this past summer while on a drive through Montana we noticed a fenced in field with a few camels, cows, horses and elk. Not a zoo either.

that's ridiculous. Anyone who looks at camel toe knows it has to be the product of ID.

Damn... that's the most well-groomed camel I've ever seen!
