Legendary Motor Cars - Dream Car Garage

Dream Car Garage is filmed at Legendary Motor Cars, close to my place. Yesterday I dropped by there to see what was in stock/on display. Currently, Legendary Motor Cars is also home to the Canadian Motorsport Hall of fame, although its a temporary situation until CMH can build a new facility. Just thought I would post some pics if anyone is interested.

1970's drag racer... these guys had' em made of steel, which is good, 'cause as you can see, the differential rested on top of them!

I'll tell you a great story about a dream car garage I saw--in a big Northest city about 15 years ago.

I responded to an ad for a 1960s Mercedes Benz sports car. It was in the Italian section of the city--downtown in a residential working class area. A single garage doorfront and a small side door. I went through the side door and into an office. A guy took me into the garage area.
And before me was about a dozen of the most exotic cars I had ever seen! Excaliburs, Rolls Royces, Mercedes, Maseratis, etc.
The guy said he was selling them for a collector. He had a small white Mercedes two-seater for 11 grand. 60s vintage. I didn't bite because the place looked pretty mysterious to me --like a fantasy. I also didn't really want a car that old at that point.

I visited alst spring while near there on business. They had just wrapped up a shoot of the show and the crew and "talent" were still there. the introduced themselves and everyone couldn't have been nicer, real gearheads one and all. Great place to visit and see some well done cars. Ownership seems to really care about what they turn out and how they take care of customere, current and potential!
