A Little PhotoShop Help Por Favor.....
 

I am in the process of designing a sign for the restautant I will be opening in the next couple months..... I do not have photoshop and was wondering if someone could help me out with a photo shop version of what I have included on the post (Yes I know it looks like a 4yr old did it, but all I have is a paint program to do such tasks). I would like for the words "Ricky Rocket's" to wrap around from the 9 o'clock position to the 3 o'clock position with a space at 12 o'clock. I was also wanting Ricky to appear as if he was painted instead of a photo. As far as the text, I would like it to appear fun, but readable.... Thanks for the help in advance.....

Hey KB. Great work! Thanks!!!, I would really appreciate the royal blue back ground with the black trim if you get a chance.... I like the text you chose and the dog bisquit gives it some humor, I like it!!! I only need the design to reflect the one that I haphazardly through together because not only will I be using it as a sign but will be using the template for hats, t-shirts etc... to be made. Also if you could do the text in the blue color.... Thanks for the help and I appreciate it sir....

Hey K.B., Just showed this design to my daughters and the LOVED it.... They advised that I WILL be making them some t-shirts out of this design for school.... They also already asked for extras for some of their friends....SmileWavy

I personally would not be tempted to go to a restaurant with a dog on it's sign.
Might wanna re-think that little detail.

Hey Moses!!! That is a great idea also.... it gives it that retro 50's look that I hadn't considered..... would also make a great t-shirt if Ricky's image was changed to appear painted!!!! Great work guys and I really do appreciate the help.... The last year has been pretty rough on me and this restaurant is about the only hope that I feel left on the inside... with the ankle injury and surgery this is about all I feel that I can physically do for my family and myself... So I hope my appreciation can show a little more than words typed on the cpu....

Cool...get a free logo design on an internet mb and save $1000-2000 ;) jk...

Sammyg2 has a point in a way...people love animals, especially kids...and Ricky is a cute dog
but have you considered, futuresoptions....of making Ricky a Cartoon type character? You could
have him drawn to look just like the real Ricky and he would be just as cute even more so...
from a marketing standpoint, the cartoon character would be easier to translate into other merchandise, napkins, calendars, keychains, little stuffed animals etc. all of which will help 'brand' your restaurant in the public's eye

Point taken..... I thought about it and this little guy brings so much love and happiness into my life that I feel there is enough to spread to the community....
Beef won't be on the menu so no questions there lol.... If we ever get big enough to do commercials I think I will give him a german accent so we don't end up with the Taco Bell debaucle.... FYI Our fish sandwich will be called the CAYMAN, our shrimp sadwhich will be called the CARRERA and our chicken sandwhich is going to be called the TARGA.......:eek:

I went ahead and down loaded a freeware photo shop type program and got basically what I wanted, but can not bend the text...
