50th anniversary Daytona 500 Promo (or why nascar still sucks)
This promo is airing pretty heavily during the football games. To the background music of Hendrix, they show highlights from the past 50 years. Out of the 8 highlight clips, 4 of them are crash sequences.
Thier greatest hero died in a crash at Daytona, yet they just cant help but glorify the incidents.

so true, then again only making left turns in MOST of the races does not do much for me. I will watch the road races if nothing else is on, being in Europe spolied me with good racing.

Sunday afternoon in mid February, it's either Daytona or pro bowling and I don't do bowling.

It should be a fun season! A lot of change.
Junior to Hendrick, Gibbs to Toyota, Franchitti and Villeneuve on the grid. I'm looking forward to the 500. |
