down another 2 lb's...

cantdrv55 04-12-2008 12:18 PM

I'm back on this thread at sub 200lb now. I'm eating better, taking my diabetes meds and just walking for exercise for now until I feel I can tax myself more.

Keithr726 04-12-2008 06:36 PM

I just watch what I eat along with jogging and swimming, helps me maintain 165lbs at 6ft

down to 217.5

That's 14.5 lbs in 13.5 weeks!

I've got about 17 weeks left to get to 185-190.
About 30 lbs to go!

wait? The wagon is almost outa site now......

(fell off wagon)

I'm gonna need to get back on with a better program. Almost slipped right back to all my old habits which include an over stuffing of beer and pizza. not good.

red911sc 04-19-2008 04:30 AM

Hey Rob - I jumped off to help you back on :) I gained a little this week (approx. 1/2 lb, hardly worth mentioning)

Hang in there everyone

Big Ed 04-19-2008 05:08 AM

I'm at 204, down 6 more since my last post.

Hang in there guys, we can do this! Rob, step away from the pizza..... :-)

The BMI chart says that 180 is the highest healthy weight for someone 6 feet tall, so I've set that as my long term goal. Although I'm not certain how realistic that is as I have a large frame and very broad shoulders. Hell, the day the first digit of my weight is a "1" will be a day of celebration!

I included part of the quote from when I joined this thread, because today I can report that I WEIGH 199 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!

I now can also say with certainty that my goal weight of 180 is going to happen.

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I got food poisoning a few weeks ago. Went from 175 lbs to 165 lbs in a week, can't recommend it as a method for weight loss though

What is Success without your Health? Nudding!!

I know this, yet I can't seem to get motivated?
I need to eat better and excercise or I'm gonna end up like this......

Awesome Big Ed! You're going to have to change your screen name :)

Hang in there everyone else

red911sc 05-03-2008 06:05 AM

Hey guys and gals,

I'm switching to bi-weekly weigh-ins - down 1 1/2 lbs. in the last 2 weeks.

Hope everyone is well

911Rob 05-06-2008 05:52 PM

Ha, Ha; here I thought I fell off the wagon because normally I can't lose a pound unless I excercise too; my eating hasn't been great, but I have improved.
Anyway, dropped another 6#s... down to 234 now, so its an inspiration!

lendaddy 05-07-2008 05:24 AM

I'm still in the game but I'm counting on summer activity to really grab the next gear. I've been stuck at -20ish lbs for a bit now.

red911sc 05-17-2008 11:36 AM

down another 1/2 lb.

Komenda Fan 06-26-2008 08:13 AM

I'm really happy right now. As a typical engineer, I quantify and graph everything, and when I started keeping track of my weight, I was 225 lbs on a 5'9" frame. Right now I am 172 lbs and feeling much better. Its amusing to see how the graph fluctuated over time, going up when the ex-wife was here, down when she wasn't!

For those who have fallen off the wagon, get back on it, its amazing the difference getting back in shape does for a person mentally as well as physically.
