Talk about hard to hold steady...my big 10-inch is the ultimate tack-driver, but I can really only shoot it with a pistol rest.

I have to agree. I bought a High Standard Military model 106 back in 1968.

A step down from the trophy, but hard to beat. It shoots one hole groups at 50 feet, no sweat. It can pick off beer cans at 100 yards as well. One bit-chen pistol. Out shoots many 22 rifles. I think I paid about $250 to $350 for it then. That would put it in the extremely expensive category today. Comparing the price of a coke at $0.07 vs $1.25 or almost 20 times would make it a $5,000 gun today!!

I shot master with it.

I still have it, and even after untold numbers of rounds, it still shoots very very well.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200894993.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200896155.jpg
