Cancer and allergies running amok!

Ok, so why? Just some random thoughts......

Are there just more people afflicted so we hear about it more? Is technology just that much better that it's being discovered more?

Microwaving food in plastic containers? Plastic water bottles? Germ killing soaps?

I do not recall a single kid with peanut allergies when I was a kid. Now if someone opens a bag of peanut M&M's it can kill a person.

There are a lot of reasons. The use of antibacterial hand lotion, for example, makes it so people don't develop the necessary antibodies to combat many common allergens. Also, as the sanitizing wipes/lotions get stronger, so do the viruses and bacteria. It's simple evolution.

The rise in cancer also has a lot of probable causes. Chief among them, although the FDA would certainly disagree, are the rise in the use of artificial chemicals and preservatives in our food, especially aspartaime and sucralose. The body doesn't know how to process these toxins, so instead of being broken down by the liver (as is, for example, alcohol), the waste toxins are stored in fat cells. These break down, often, into harmful agents. People trying to lose weight, drinking a lot of diet soda and eating a lot of these light foods, might be releasing a lot of these toxins into their bloodstreams all at once by suddenly burning off the fat that they have accumulated over years...

Because people are way, way, too freakin' fat.

Why blame our own gluttony? It's easier to blame microwaves, plastics, cell phones, antibiotics, insecticides...

ok.....no facts here...just opinion!

I feel like maybe my increased allergy problems relate to there being seemingly more mild winter-weather. It seems like we had more consistantly cold winters years ago...now its cold one week and warm the next. I am really allergic to mold/mildew, etc...and I think the weather is a factor.

Look at the massive rise in the use of plastics and artifical ingredients in our food in the past 40 years.

Is this really a mystery? I don't think so.
