what's the protocol for pix?
"Random pix" sounds like just that. "Random pix that YOU have taken" seems to imply something different, like the photographer somehow gets "credit" for the shot. I know that there are no points awarded and folks are probably just trying to share their good shots, so...
is there some protocol? Or it doesn't really matter? Random pix seems to have more "exposure" if that's what you're after, or was it just started earlier? Maybe I don't need to know, but I have finally dug out many old slides and want to share them, just curious where people think they should go. This first one is out of a magazine, so random. Second is mine. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200456901.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200457010.jpg |
Cool pics, I'd say that pics that you took or probably even that you are in or your family took, could probably go in the "random pics that YOU have taken' That one implies some sort of personal involvement. Doesn't really matter much what they are of (hence the 'random' part).
The other is pretty much anything else |
I think that w/ pics like that, a whole new thread is appropriate.
