"Breaking Bad" looks pretty good
Read an interesting review on it. The pilot is running this week on AMC. I suggest just watching it without reading about it or watching previews first. Otherwise:

Every time I hear the title, I imagine a reality show for breaking insolent little brads. Kind of a "Dog Whisperer" for children, if you will.
Still, the premise of the movie sounds interesting. A guy diagnosed with a terminal disease who (for some reason) decides to make methamphetamine.

Watched it last night and think it has real potential to be a very entertaining series. Some of the best TV programming (oxymoron?) is on the cable channels like AMC, FX,etc. We really got hooked on "Mad Men" on AMC this fall and also on "Rescue Me" on FX. You definitely will not see these shows on the regular broadcast networks.

Check out the sheild on FX- GREAT show. I like that I never really can decide who the 'good guys' are... kinda like real life.

Watched it last night. Interesting. A darker version of Weeds but IMHO less of a stretch in terms of plausibility.

![]() Enjoyed "Breaking Bad" last night too. The opening was really cool...trying to figure out how the hell he got in that situation.
