the last episode of "Newhart" was one of the great moments of TV. That wasn't my favorite series though...the original Bob Newhart Show was amazing.

That was back when all of the TV theme songs sounded like "MacArthur Park" (Mary Tyler Moore Show (had the bridge to the song), which isn't a bad thing!

To this day when I hear a phone ring with the old style bell tone, I think of the opening credits of the Bob Newhart Show and answer "hello" to myself.

She had all the things that make for a very pretty women IMO - a great eye to hair contrast (Brown and green), a petite body, high cheekbones, a very pretty face and a voice that sounded like she just had sung three sets with Janice Joplin, smoked a pack of Camels and banged down a few shots of Wild Turkey!

And yes, she provide many a chub for me as a young lad...
