Heard a pick up line today and I cringed.
 

Maybe it's because I've been married for 25 years but even when I was dating, I didn't use lines.

My wife and I were having lunch and we overheard the couple on the next booth talking. Dude says, "Did the sun just shine or did you just smile at me?". We heard her giggle a little. Don't know if it worked ot not but it sure made me cringe.

You single guys still using such lines?

Sure beats, "ya wana have a slurrply."

I have found "why don't we get drunk and screw" works well for me.

I'm with you, cantdrv55. I don't think my wife of 20 years and I would have been able to stop laughing out loud. Lame.

My wife tells me that that when she was young and dating she would've laughed at any guy who used a lame line like that on her. To his face.

I remember a party in college once. To get in, you had to give a cheesy pick-up line. It was funny just standing by the front door, listening to peoples' creativity.
