iPod Mechanic - Do not do business with these guys.
 

I got taken. I did not do my due diligence before I sent in three iPods for repair. These guys have had my stuff for three weeks and will not return emails. Their phone will not accept messages as well. I should've Googled them instead of just reading the apparently fake customer testimonials. I bet they'll fix the iPods and sell them on craigslist or eBay.

It's engraved. My wife and son gave it to me five years ago for my 40th bday. The only thing wrong was a dead battery and I couldn't open the case to replace it myself.

Reverse lookup says that the number is a nextel number.

Looks like they me right by the Kalamazoo airport. I'm sure someone here can go by there and see if it's even a ligit place.

Sorry to hear about this, yeah a google search shows a lot of complaints about them.
FWIW they have been reported to the BBB here is what is on file, you may be able to file a complaint or threaten legal action to get their attention.

In case you didn't know the owner is Mr. Nicholas Woodhams and he has a contact email address listed as myebay@gmail.com
