It's holding up the TV so why waste money on a new one that is not needed.

You could use the money to paint the walls and clean the carpet.

That's funny, exactly what I was thinking.

There was a very sad story not too long ago about a toddler that pulled an unbalanced tv onto himself. He died from a crushed skull.

Obviously, yours isn't looking like its going to tip over, the entire tv stand is supported. A larger stand would add to the balance.

I agree with the wife. We went went with this corner unit for our 42". It holds the cable box, DVD player, XBox, games and movies. Would also could fit a receiver in there if I had one but I opted for a Cinemate System for sound.

Is that painting on the right side a closeup of the guy on the e-surance ads?

Also, hope those base board heaters dont kick on to often. Could really cause some damage to your equipment.

Wire out the window is probably some sort of radio antenna?

Painting I did quite some time ago. I've been doing paintings based on Japanese anime for the last couple years.

The wire just goes to the left front speaker of the surround sound. Nothing has been mounted yet.

Thanks for the tip nostatic.

I was going to get a TV like that. Then I moved my chair closer.

lolo, But doesn't nostatic have a problem with the door on the right?

Wham ...

I like the Japanese Koi print. Pretty modern yet traditional looking.

Now, why only 1 curtain? Huge CD / porn rack in the closet? Instant access?

IKEA is your friend.

Yes, all Swedish citizens get a share from every sale from IKEA.
