Man has nothing to do with the global temperature.
Although I wish we did. I could surely use a bit of warming around my parts. |

You haven't been keeping up with what is going on in places like North Dakota have you? |
What specifically about North Dakota? The fact that it's mindnumbingly cold? Or that new technology allowed development of the Bakken oil field which extended the proven commercial reserves of oil and gas by orders of magnitude and that the flow of natural gas from the Bakken and similar fracking zones in Texas lead to cheap, clean natural as that is primarily responsible for reducing the US' carbon emissions beyond any potential treaty's goals and more than any other industrialized country in recent years?
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/thank-fracking-for-continued-decreases-in-us-greenhouse-gas-emissions It's almost as if humans respond to incentive and develop new technologies that address threats to humanity and result in ever-increasing standards of living. When Bill Clinton too office he had the resources of the entire government at his disposal. But he had less access to accurate information than a 12 year old with a smart phone hap less than 25 years later. |
mindnumbingly cold compared to Minnesota??
|
Minnesota has only the second worst winters of the Lower 48 States. Our neighbors to the northwest have it even worse.
Does Minnesota really have the worst winters in the country? - StarTribune.com |

MRM, yes, that...

So just how many humans can the planet sustain? There must be a limit and some have guessed around 11 Billion. That's the max number of people the planet can physically sustain, taking into account the amount of space needed for crops and animals. We are currently around 7.8 Billion.
I believe this may be the greatest threat, simply too many people. If you want to reduce the carbon footprint we may just need to reduce the number of footprints.... Ultimately nature may do this on its own if we don't start planning and if that happens it wont be pretty. |
