The Ron Paul train keeps rolling!
He got THREE TIMES the percentage of votes that Fred Thompson got in Florida today!
But isnt Thompson officially out of the race?
Go Ron Paul...even if you don't have a chance.
He is, which is why i don't understand this post. On another note, looks like gulianni is screwed.
The (official) Paul campaign spent little to no time in FL since it is a winner take all and they have saved their resources for smaller states. It was a grass-roots only operation there. Millions spent by Romney has won him 0 delegates.
In FL you can vote early (absentee?) and many were able to vote before Fred dropped out...at least that is what I have heard. |
Ron Paul is the nicest politician in the whole presidential race. Now why isn't he getting the same attention in the media as Obama, McCain and the rest? If he did, he would be much higher. Maybe he just doesn't spend enough money for those TV ads the media is profiteering on.
I'm sure if the media gave him more attention, he could probably have doubled his results in Florida. He'd have gone from 3% to 6%!
Damn media. They just have it out for Ron Paul (and Dennis Kucinich, too). |
:D - funny

I visited the RP booth at the local gun show and like his Libertarian view on politics, he might very well be the only Republican I would consider. I have an Obama sticker on my truck , nice little social experiment going to gun shows and IDPA matches with it :)
He is giving those crooks a headstart before the Paul Master Plan is unveiled.
Paul is going to run third party, no doubt about it. I heard an ad on the radio here for him and that makes no sense otherwise since the primary is done.
I haven't fully thought this through, but part of me is happy about that. His run will seal it for the dems and if we're stuck with McCain who would act very similarly to a dem anyway...well why not let the dems get the real credit they deserve for the fallout? |

Paul is in a unique situation. He can't keep his campaign cash for personal use, so he has to either give it to another campaign or to charity, I believe. He's not the Libertarian Party's candidate and he's not gonna get the GOP nomination. Despite his amazing fundraising, he hadn't gotten much traction in any one state. So what would he call his third party? Nader is what cost Gore FL in 2000 and Perot cost Bush I the whole election in 1992. I wonder how pragmatic Paul really is and this will show it.
What possible reason would there be for running ads in Michigan if not for national aspirations?
